As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® and Certified Financial Planner®, Janet’s focus is on guiding clients through the financial transition of divorce and beyond. Janet is the  owner of Divorce Financial Consultants, LLC which was established in 2011. Janet is a trained mediator and a Certified Collaborative Divorce Practitioner. She is the chairperson of The Collaborative Law Group of Southern Arizona. 

Janet has worked on over 500 divorces as a mediator, collaborative financial neutral or as an expert witness in court. Janet is a former Board Member of the Financial Planning Association of Southern Arizona and is a current Advisory Board Member of Divorce Recovery, an organization dedicated to providing emotional and educational support to members of Tucson families going through a divorce or separation. 

 With over 30 years of experience in wealth management, Janet is also a Financial Advisor with DKGB Financial. Having owned and operated a successful small business, and having experienced the loss of loved ones unexpectedly, as well as a divorce, Janet knows firsthand the importance of financial planning and is passionately committed to educating and serving her clients. Her areas of expertise include budgeting, survivor needs, education funding, investing and asset allocation, tax management, retirement planning, estate planning, cross-border planning, and divorce financial planning.
