- Francis J. Davies, III is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst and Portfolio Manager at IMCG in Portland, ME. His friends, clients and family call him Terry.
- As a member of IMCG’s Investment Policy Committee, Mr. Davies brings a wealth of Wall Street knowledge to the oversight of portfolio management and economic analysis.
- Prior to joining IMCG in December of 2005, Mr. Davies was a Managing Director of Westport Capital Markets and headed up their Portland office after relocating to Maine with his family in 2000.
- His career in financial services started in 1982 in New York where he worked with Laidlaw Asset Management; from 1988 to 1995 he was an officer and member of the investment committee for Reynders Gray & Company, a New York Stock Exchange member firm.
- In 1995 he founded Avalon Financial Counsel, a registered investment advisory firm, which merged with Westport Capital in 2002.
- His experience includes supervision of substantial corporate, pension and individual portfolios. In addition, he draws on several years as a senior trader on an institutional equity trading desk.
- Mr. Davies serves on the boards of Preble Street and the Institute for Financial Literacy.
