David T. Brunson CFA®, CFP®, CDFA® is the President of Lifeway Financial Corporation, a fee-only financial planning and investment management firm located in Plano, Texas. David holds the Certified Financial Planner®, Certified Financial Analyst®, and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst^® designations and is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, the Financial Planning Association, the Association for Investment Management and Research™ and the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts.

David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Texas Tech University and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance from the University of Texas at Arlington. He also holds a Graduate Studies Certificate in alternative dispute resolution from Southern Methodist University and is currently an adjunct professor at SMU where he teaches financial planning in divorce and dispute resolution settings at the graduate level.

In his divorce planning role, David is responsible for supporting participants and their attorneys in the review, analysis, and generation of financial solutions in both collaborative and traditional family law settings. David has over 18 years of experience in the financial planning, investment management, and divorce consulting areas.
