Sara Zuckerman is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP) and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA) dedicated to helping women navigate the financial complexities of life transitions, particularly during and after divorce or widowhood. As the Founder and Lead Planner at Reset Financial Planning, Sara offers a unique approach tailored to the needs of women who find themselves suddenly single in mid-life. Her mission is to help her clients align their financial resources with their values, guiding them to confidently plan for the next chapter of their lives.

Sara’s practice is distinctive because it begins with understanding the client’s unique situation, goals, and values, rather than focusing on portfolios or retirement analysis. Her goal is to empower her clients by providing them with the knowledge and tools needed to take control of their financial future. Through clear communication and a deep commitment to education, Sara ensures that her clients never leave a meeting feeling overwhelmed or confused.

Having worked with larger firms for several years, Sara saw the need for more personalized, client-centered financial guidance, which led her to establish Reset Financial Planning. This boutique firm allows her to work closely with a select number of clients, offering the emotional support, guidance, and insight necessary during challenging life transitions. With a strong belief in the power of informed decision-making, Sara is passionate about supporting women as they navigate the financial aspects of divorce and widowhood.

Sara’s own life experiences, including her parents’ divorce, have fueled her dedication to helping women regain confidence and clarity in their financial lives. As a fee-only advisory firm, Reset Financial Planning operates with a fiduciary responsibility, ensuring that clients’ best interests are always prioritized. Based in Scottsdale, AZ, Sara serves clients both locally and virtually across the United States.

In addition to her professional credentials, Sara holds an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a BS in Business from the University of Colorado. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons, engaging in various activities such as cooking, hiking, skiing, and reading.
