Mary graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in economics then spent 11 years as an employee benefits and retirement plan (ERISA) paralegal. She obtained the designations of Certified Pension Consultant and Qualified Pension Administrator. Mary also obtained her Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses and her life insurance license and spent years as an independant financial advisor before transitioning to the niche of Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®. Although she no longer holds those designations due to the redirection of her career to divorce work, that in-depth knowledge of retirement plans, IRAs, employee benefits and financial planning has added to her expertise as divorce mediator and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®. When not helping clients, you can find Mary playing competitive and recreational tennis or spending time with friends, family and her dog. Mary is the education and membership chair for the North Carolina Association of Professional Family Mediators and is the treasurer for the Tidewater Camellia Club.
