Loretta Wilson, Ph.D., CDFA. I am a doctor of economics, an independent investment advisor and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® currently serving the greater Charleston, SC area. My doctorate of economics and subsequent thirty years in higher education and publishing in the area of global finance provided the framework within which I developed a career in financial services. Economists are trained over a period of several years to analyze financial data and determine the impact of various outcomes. In my case, with a specialization in global finance, my focus was broader than divorce analysis. Yet, the tools are highly similar. My background in financial services has provided me with an opportunity to work with adults one-on-one on topics of great concern to them. I provide high quality client service and tend to form long term relationships with whom I work. My background in higher education allowed me to develop an expertise in public speaking.
