Deborah Hope Wayne is a collaborative attorney, mediator, and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® who dedicates her professional life to helping people negotiate family and divorce matters and resolve conflict without court intervention.  She sits on the Board of Directors of the New York State Council for Divorce Mediation (NYSCDM) and is a founding member of the Academy of Professional Mediators (APFM). She is the Chair of the Accreditation Committee for NYSCDM. She is also a former member of the Board of the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals and is Co-Chair of the committee for peer support and development for that organization.


 


Ms. Wayne co-developed one of the first law school programs on Collaborative Practice in the United States and currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Collaborative Law at Pace University School of Law where she has taught for the past 8 years.  Deborah Hope Wayne attended Boston University where she received a Bachelor of Arts cum laude; the University of Grenoble, Grenoble, France; and earned her law degree from Pace University School of Law.


 


Ms. Wayne has lectured on prenup agreements, collaborative law, mediation and conflict resolution at various institutions including: St. John’s University, Pace University School of Law, Fordham Law School, the New York State Office of Court Administration, APFM, NYSCDM and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
