During my three-year separation, I became a CDFA to make divorce finances make sense. My approach combines a forensic attention to detail along with the hard-won wisdom of someone who’s lived through the fear, uncertainty, and overwhelm of separation and divorce. I know what it feels like when nobody seems trustworthy enough to guide you through the hardest financial decisions of your life, when every option feels impossible.There’s a sense of relief when someone asks you the right question, so you don’t have to find the wordsto get started. Reading between the lines, that’s what I bring to the table. Picking up on what hasn’t beensaid out loud allows me to hone in quickly on the important questions, creating an experience that’s bothefficient and personal.
I see what my clients are showing me and what they’re protecting, what they’re afraid of, and what theyneed to move forward. I see my clients fully. That clarity – from uncovering the details hiding between the lines – is what allows us to secure their financial freedom. My first friends in California forgave the South Jersey accent I moved here with in 2000, and I’ve been tenaciously loyal to my people from one coast to another ever since. My tiniest people, my daughters Reece and Gwen, are the ones who taught me all of us really do have endless amounts of love to give. |
