David Smith, CDFA®, CQS™, ChFC®, CASL®, D.M.D., Ret LtCol USAF, and owner of Sand Oak Divorce Solutions LLC, has over 16 years of diverse experience as a financial professional, and has experienced his own divorce. In February 2025, David relocated his office from Panama City, Florida to Chattanooga, Tennessee, but still can assist clients nationwide. He is equipped with unique skills as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, Certified QDRO Specialist™, Chartered Financial Consultant®, Holistic Financial Organizer and Coordinator, and retired military dental officer (awarded D.M.D degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1982), that will help you answer all the financial questions related to your divorce - whether military or otherwise.

David also holds his Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses, his Florida non-resident life, health and variable annuity license and his Tennesssee resident life, health and variable annuity license. He is focused on assisting his clients through education, to understand and resolve the financial issues of their divorce. David provides hourly or flat fee based divorce specific advice and support throughout the entire process, and while assisting with your divorce he will not try to sell you any financial products, nor will he be compensated on commission.  In his spare time, David enjoys early morning walks, and listening to podcasts, along with food composting and recyling as much as he possibly can.
