Elaine Chan, founder and managing principal of FIOH Global Asset Management and Strategies, LLC, has been in the field of finance and economics for over twenty five years. With the academic training as an Economist, Elaine has worked for General Motors Corporation, The World Bank, Nextel Communications, AT&T Wireless, and Cendant Corporation. She was a wealth manager at Merrill Lynch from 2005 to 2011 and she is a Certified Financial Planner, a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. Elaine graduated from Cornell University with Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Economics. Elaine’s work experience and academic training has broadened and deepened her understanding of global economic interdependence. She recognizes that one can no longer look at one market or one country in isolation when developing an investment strategy – which must be versatile to the changes in the global economic development with a disciplined approach. Elaine enjoys helping clients realize their financial goals. She applies a customized process of establishing objectives, developing a mutually agreed-upon investment strategy and implementing customized solutions to maximize the likelihood of achieving goals. |
