Tricia joined Homrich Berg in 2003 after spending four years with Ernst & Young. While at E&Y, in addition to becoming a CPA, Tricia led teams within the federal tax consulting group to determine research and development tax credits for major corporations throughout the Southeast. Homrich Berg (HB) is an independent wealth management firm based in Atlanta that serves select clients throughout the country. We offer objective, fee-only investment counsel and financial planning, using the resources found in a large firm, while giving you the personal attention expected from a smaller one. Our goal is simple: to make sure our clients feel confident and comfortable where their financial future is concerned. Originally from New Jersey, Tricia earned the Girl Scout Gold Award (equivalent to the Eagle Scout) before attending Indiana University. While in Bloomington, in addition to earning her bachelor's and master's degree in accounting, she became an avid college basketball fan. Tricia serves as HB's divorce specialist and has appeared on the Vision Anew radio show "Divorce Resource." In addition to writing multiple articles for Atlanta Woman magazine, Tricia has given a "Financial Planning 101" presentation to various groups including the Alpha Kappa Psi regional and national conferences and fall symposium of the Cherokee Dental Hygienists' Society, a component of the Georgia Dental Hygienists' Association. Tricia continues to serve on the Advisory Board for Visions Anew, a local non-profit that empowers divorcing women to successfully create and achieve a new vision for their lives. Tricia graduated from the Georgia Society of CPAs Leadership Academy in 2007, has served as the Treasurer for the Atlanta Chapter of the I.U. Alumni Association since 2000 and is an active member of the Marietta Chapter of P.E.O., a philanthropic education organization. Since 2002, Tricia has participated in the annual Breast Cancer multi-day walks and volunteers with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Atlanta chapter. Tricia, her husband Nicholas and daughter Gianna are active members of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church community in Sandy Springs and enjoy following the New York Yankees and Atlanta Braves. |
