Bonnie has been working as a Certified Financial Planner for families since 1992. Previous to that she owned a tax practice. She also earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary, AIF®, designation and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® designation, CDFA® . She served on the following boards: National Board for the Financial Planning Association (FPA), South Region Board for the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), and Foundation for Financial Planning board. She is past President on the Board of Directors for the non-profit Loudoun Therapeutic Riding (www.ltrf.org).
Certified Financial Planner™, CFP® Certified Divorce Financial Analyst ®, CDFA® Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, AIF® BS in Family Economics & Management, MS in Financial Planning. I prepare expert testimony for private arbitration and court cases relating to divorce. I also work in mediation and private negotiations. This can include lifestyle analysis, net worth projections, income on assets, working capital, tax impact, income & spending, the financial impact of a particular scenario. In November 2019, we are formalizing the decades’ long work we have been doing with business owners exiting their businesses. Bonnie has been accepted to attend the CEPA (Certified Exit Planning Advisor) program at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. GIVING BACK Bonnie continues to serve as a volunteer speaker at the monthly non-profit Second Saturday divorce workshop in Fairfax, VA. Bonnie is a sponsor for the Chipping In to End Domestic Violence annual golf tournament hosted by Cooper Ginsberg Gray, PLLC. The proceeds go directly to the women and children at Artemis House. Bonnie serves as a pro bono advisor for the Building Homes for Heroes program in honor of her own father’s service in WWII’s Scouts & Raiders. She is currently working with a veteran and his family in Kennesaw, GA.
