With over 35 years managing businesses, and over 10 years in the finance industry, I offer you a seasoned professional who is competent to assist you in making life-changing financial decisions.

At the age of fifteen I started out in business working in the dental field, learning practice management and becoming the office manager by age sixteen. I graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene and worked in the dental field for over fifteen years.

I then took over as President of the family sign business where I became deeply involved in the community through the Chamber of Commerce and Rotary, which served to deepen my beliefs in valuing people, time and life events.

After an amicable divorce, I began my career in financial services in real estate brokerage, mortgage lending and insurance products. I became a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist, educating and helping my clients evaluate their real estate holdings as investments and incorporating them into their overall financial goals. I joined Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in order to provide a complete array of financial services to my clients.

As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, I help my divorcing clients avoid the common financial pitfalls of divorce by offering valuable insight into the pros and cons of different settlement proposals, including the short-term and long-term financial impact. After the divorce, I continue my work to develop a customized financial plan that takes into consideration their new life situation, then monitor and provide advice through the many life changes that continue to take place. My philosophy is “The marriage may be over, but the rest of your life is still ahead”.

I believe a balanced life is the essence of happiness. As such, I’m dedicated to helping my community be a better place to live and work. I have served as President of 3 local Rotary clubs and assist the 49 clubs in Orange County to increase and retain their membership and in public relations matters. I also serve as Vice President of the Orange branch of the American Association of University Women.

I was recognized by the Pacific West Association of Realtors as a “Community Leader” * in 2006 and 2007 for my work with local non-profits and by the National Association of Women Business Owners in Orange County with the “Remarkable Woman” Award** in 2006. The Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce honored me for my volunteerism in 2007 and 2008. I was also recognized in 2009 by Rotary International District 5320 as the “Rotarian of the Year”***.

In my spare time I enjoy golf, outdoor activities, spending time with my family including two grown daughters and two dogs, and participating in activities that help others. I am a leader in my church and am trained to provide counsel to individuals going through life’s difficulties and transitions.

*Recognized for Realtor member’s active service in volunteer, leadership positions in arts, business, charitable, children's, civic, community or religious organizations.
