Mary has created accounting solutions for small and large companies with high transaction volume and an emphasis on accuracy, in a variety of financial markets. She has managed all aspects of financial systems and analysis for small and Fortune 500 companies both domestically and internationally.
Mary was a financial advisor at Wachovia Securities and Morgan Stanley for a period of time from 2004 to 2008. She directed the management of clients’ investments and was heavily involved in networking and prospecting for new clients. She also implemented ongoing client service, and reviewed their investment performance. During her tenure at Wachovia Securities, she acquired her CDFA® (Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®) designation.
Mary was an accounting manager and contracts administrator with Continental Shelf Associates Inc., a marine environmental company for the period 2001 to 2004. Mary managed a budget of $20M and staff of 35. Here is where Mary oversaw budgets and the business portion of proposals for both governmental and non-governmental bids. She also tracked the ongoing progress of each project against its budget. She negotiated and managed health, general and professional liability insurance.
Mary enjoys living in Northern Palm Beach County and loves what she does for a living. She especially enjoys helping individuals struggling with the financial aspects of their divorce to understand the ramifications of accepting a proposed financial settlement and making well-informed decisions regarding their financial future.
She is specially trained and certified to analyze and evaluate divorce settlements, including the tax implications of dividing property and options for dividing pensions/401(k) plans, marital property, and awarding of child support and spousal support (alimony). She is qualified to serve as a financial expert on divorce cases and can present powerful analysis and data to back up any disagreements. Her purpose is to help educate clients on the financial implications of different divorce settlement proposals that will help them make the best possible decision during divorce negotiations, while protecting their financial future in this life changing event.
