I assist women with compassion, expert advice and guidance through various challenges in their lives, be it divorce, dealing with the death of a spouse, single parenthood or becoming a caregiver to elderly parents. Focusing on providing women with the long term financial considerations of various "what if" scenarios so they can make the right choice and have a clear view of their life after divorce. An enthusiastic advocate for financial issues that affect women and children, believing in education and empowerment not only for herself, but for her clients. In 1996, Heather completed the CFP – Certified Financial Planner designation, in 2008, the CDFA® – Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® designation and in 2010, the EPC – Elder Planning Counselor designation. Through her continued focus on Education Seminars for the Arthritis Society, Alzheimer’s Society, the Toronto Public Library “Ask the Expert Series” and the Financial Planning Standards Council, Heather has recently been awarded the Fellow of the FPCD distinction . This award is given by the Financial Planning Standards Council to recognize CFP’s (Certified Financial Planner) for outstanding contribution to furthering the FPSC’s vision and for advancing the financial planning profession in Canada. Born and raised in Saint John, New Brunswick, now living in Mississauga with her husband Joe and their 2 children, TJ and Elizabeth. Her favourite activities include walking the family dog Daisey, reading, travelling, theatre and spending weekends with family and friends at their second home in Sauble Beach.
