Debbie Hartzman is a Certified Financial Planner, a Chartered Life Underwriter and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. She has been practising in Kingston Ontario Canada for past 10 years. Debbie is active in her community and very involved in the on going evolution of the CDFA designation in Canada. For the past three years she has been the trainer for the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts, and has helped develop the manual and software. Her practise has been featured in Canadian Living Magazine, The National Post, The Toronto Star and the Nova Scotia Herald. She has written several articles for the Lawyer's Weekly Journal, and is presently developing a course to help Mediators understand the importance of a CDFA. Her skills as a teacher/writer with the combination of experience as both a Certified Financial Planner and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst allow her to help her clients have the information required to accept a settlement proposal that make good financial sense.
