DAWN LITCHFIELD BROWN Dawn is President and CEO of Litchfield, Nelson & Co., a fee based firm in Naples, Florida, which provides financial planning, investment and insurance services. She entered the investment field in 1982 with a national investment firm. In 1987 she founded Litchfield Asset Management. The doors opened the same day the stock market crashed and they have remained open. She is a Registered Investment Advisor with the Securities and Exchange Commission, a licensed broker in more than 26 states, and a licensed insurance representative. She has recently acquired the designation of Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. Because of her outstanding work in the industry, Dawn was named to the Mutual Service Corporation's President's Club in 1994, 1997 through 2004. She is also an Arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers. Dawn became widely known in Naples because of her involvement in the media and love of teaching. For 13 years she was a talk show host on WNOG Radio Money Matters. She anchored for ABC-TV's Dollars and Sense and Fox-TV's Financial Insighter. She has also been a frequent contributor to other cable and television shows. Currently she is working with Financial Fruitcakes, Inc. and has produced two pilot programs on financial literacy which has been syndicated for national television, and is initially being provided through-out the Florida, Maine and South Dakota School systems, followed by a national roll out. Dawn is distinguished for her community involvement, particularly for her efforts as Capital Campaign Chair in raising $7 million for the Shelter for Abused Women and Children. She is presently serving on the N Magazine Board of Directors, Community Bank Advisory Board, The Gene Sarazen Foundation, and the Forum Club. Presently, she is also serving on the board of the Gene Sarazen Foundation, The Forum Club, N Magazine, Naples Alliance for Children Advisory Board, Community Bank Advisory Board, and is ad hoc advisor for financial affairs of the Assembly Center shelter for the homeless. Previously, she has served on the International College Board of Trustees, Collier County Economic Development Council, Collier County Housing Finance Authority, and the Naples Chamber of Commerce, St. Matthew's House, President of the East Naples Civic Association, YMCA Project Graduation Board, to name a few. As a result of these efforts, she has been recognized as a "Woman of Style" by N Magazine and was a nominee for the Southwest Florida Blue Chip Community Business Award and National Women’s Circle List by Research Magazine.
