With 30 years experience as a CPA as well as a background in counseling and mediation, Audrey brings a unique blend of talent, experience, and skills to her work as a divorce financial consultant. In the course of the last ten years working exclusively with divorcing clients, she has developed a unique niche due to her ability to identify and address not only the financial issues but to understand the underlying emotional issues. Fear of the financial impact of divorce and suspicion of hidden assets are often what impede settlements. Her real passion is educating and informing her clients on these issues in a way that empowers them to overcome their fears and focus on rebuilding their lives financially post-divorce. Although she has extensive experience in forensic accounting and litigation support services, Audrey's preference is to assist divorcing couples as a financial neutral in the context of Collaborative Law, mediation, or settlement negotiations. She is dedicated to helping her clients protect the well-being of their children and conserve their financial resources by avoiding the court system whenever possible. Her experience continues to confirm these methods as the way to go for couples who want to divorce in as timely and cost-effective a fashion as possible while maintaining dignity and respect for one another, controlling their own outcome, and being able to co-parent effectively post-divorce. |
