Stephen R. Trella, Jr., is a practicing California Attorney and the President of The Law Offices of Stephen R. Trella, Jr., A Professional Corporation. Mr. Trella offers clients more than 20 years of professional experience in the areas of Asset Protection, Corporate Law, Estate Planning, Financial Planning, Real Estate Law and Tax Law.

In addition to serving the Southern California region and the international community as an attorney, Mr. Trella is a California Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Divorce Financial AnalystTM, and a Certified Financial Planner®, which means he brings much more to the table, and to his clients.

Mr. Trella obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from The American College of Law, where he was Valedictorian and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Mr. Trella received his Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Finance and Accounting from California State University, Fullerton; where he is a Lifetime Member of the National Honor Society of Accounting Students and a Lifetime Member of the National Honor Society of Financial Management Association. Mr. Trella holds both a Chartered Life Underwriter Certificate and a Chartered Financial Consultant Certificate from The American College.

Mr. Trella is admitted to practice law before the United States Court of Appeals, Federal Court; the United Stated Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit; the United States District Court, Northern District of California; the United States District Court, Eastern District of California; the United States District Court, Central District of California; the Unites States District Court, Southern District of California; and the United States Tax Court.

Mr. Trella is very active in both business and community affairs. In order to stay current in the ever changing legal and financial market, he is a member of such organizations as the American Bar Association, specifically the Taxation and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections and the Orange County Bar Association with an emphasis in the Family Law; International Law; Tax Law; and Trusts and Estates Sections.

Mr. Trella is also a licensed California Real Estate Broker. In conjunction with being a Real Estate Broker, Mr. Trella is a member of the California Association of Realtors and the Orange County Association of Realtors.

Additionally, Mr. Trella holds a California Life, Health and Disability Insurance License.

Mr. Trella has been both a Contributing Editor and a Featured Writer in The Orange County Register; specifically in the “Business” and “Your Money” sections. Further, Mr. Trella has been quoted in various other local and international publications on numerous occasions. Furthermore, Mr. Trella has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of California, Irvine in the Certificate for Personal Financial Planning program, teaching in the areas of business formations and tax law.
