Early in my career, I managed a branch office of a mortgage company, where I was first exposed to the many financial mistakes people make. I witnessed clients approaching their finances in a reactive way, many who treated their money as if it was something that needed to be reclaimed and put back together again. I was determined to figure out a way to help people avoid these mistakes.

It didn’t take me long to realize that personal finance is something that is best approached from a proactive stance. I started my career as a financial advisor in 2009 and have not looked back since. My drive stems from my passion for helping clients dissect their goals and lay down a track that is free from unrealistic expectations yet layered in attainable goals that help take them from their starting point to beyond retirement. Now, I am the proud founder and owner of my company, Maven Lane Financial Group.

From there I set out to pursue my financial education, while keeping in mind that there was a narrative that needed to be flipped so people could avoid the typical mistakes and achieve financial peace.

My interest in financial planning has not waned over the years, and I continued down a constant road to education, later earning my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and a Master’s degree in Personal Financial Planning. I have clients in all stages of life and industries and have many multi-generational families that I am fortunate to work with.

I can empathize and relate to many of the challenges involved in managing finances and the numerous choices that we all face every day. My goal is to be part of your financial team and provide guidance and resources as decisions come up. Just like life circumstances, financial planning is dynamic and ever-changing, and I want my clients to be prepared.

I live in the Bay Area and my first book "Your Money Narrative" was recently published and launched on Jan. 2, 2024. I have two grown daughters, each following their own passions in life. In my spare time I enjoy being home with my cute cats and working on my long list of passion projects, especially those involving decorating, antiques, and the history behind them. I am currently building a dollhouse and working on a series of children’s books about collections.
