Originally from Michigan, Laurie attended Michigan State University and graduated from Kellogg Community College summa cum laude.   Laurie has resided in Southern California and Montana, enjoying careers in travel and emergency communications.  After her divorce in 2005, she moved to Florida to begin a career in the Financial Services Industry.  Prior to joining Anchor Certified Planners Group in 2013, Laurie worked for a large insurance corporation and a local bank.  She has obtained several Securities Licenses (Series 6, 7, 66, 63, 26) and the Florida Life, Health and Variable Annuity License. As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®), Laurie works with divorcing clients to determine the short-term and long-term financial impact of proposed settlements.  She helps clients to understand thier assets and debts and avoid common divorce pitfalls and tax mistakes.  Laurie also enjoys assisting clients after the divorce by developing a Financial Plan designed to reach their goals and give them peace of mind.
