Danielle was also lucky enough to grow up in Silicon Valley. Along with 100%, private school education comes exposure to the multi-faceted characteristics of the disparities between struggle and prosperity. Because funds were always limited and applied only where necessary in her household, Danielle grew to appreciate (and desire) the blessings and increased opportunities wealth can bring. Throughout her childhood and early adulthood, she competed in world-class artistic roller skating competitions all over the country. After Archbishop Mitty High School, Danielle graduated Magna Cum Laude from Santa Clara University almost exclusively on grants, scholarships, and student loans, focusing on business and economics. In a quest to better understand money in a “real world” sense, Danielle began her lifelong calling to be a financial advisor at Enterprise Trust & Investment Company followed by Union Bank of California. The designations Danielle holds today are a reflection of her drive to constantly learn and better the lives of clients and their families. Danielle has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. To do so, she had to complete an approved educational program, pass a rigorous examination, and meet stringent experience requirements. Danielle also fulfills annual continuing education requirements to remain aware of current planning strategies and financial trends. As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA® ), Danielle helps clients understand how the financial decisions they make today will impact their financial future. A CDFA® is trained to provide financial advice on divorce cases and to educate clients on the financial implications of different divorce settlement proposals. The CDFA® designation is sponsored by the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts®. She also holds the Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) and Accredited Domestic Partnership AdvisorSM (ADPA) designations. The ADPA designation focuses on the unique investment planning needs of couples who are considered unmarried under state law, federal law, or both. Like Greg, Danielle has also earned the Dedicated Equity Plan Specialist designation. Due to her dedication, Danielle was named to the prestigious 2020 Working Mother & SHOOK Research’s Top Wealth Advisor Moms ranking. In addition to the above, Danielle was selected to be one of only two advisors to serve on a Financial Advisor Advisory Council for the Pacific Coast Region that covers multiple states and hundreds of advisors. In this role, she serves as an advocate and liaison for clients, employees, and other advisors with executive leadership. Danielle also is a co-founder of the Morgan Stanley Silicon Valley Women’s Leadership Group whose mission is to be the go-to group of trusted advisors for uniquely successful women in the bay area. Women have a unique perspective on wealth as well as different needs, which requires someone who can give quality advice through this lens. Danielle believes in women owning their wealth, which necessitates that they partner with professionals whose experience and goals align with theirs. In the community, Danielle is a member of the Santa Clara University Alumni Association. In her “spare” time Danielle and her husband Erick love to take their kids Isabella, Olivia, Yonas, and Andrew, (and their Yorkie Remy) to the park. When she is not working or with her family, Danielle enjoys spoiling women with jewelry and other goodies through her home-based business. |
