Kathi Zimmer is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and the founder of Zimmer Financial Planning, an investment advisory and financial planning company headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Kathi is a registered investment adviser representative in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Texas. Kathi works with clients to address all aspects of their financial well-being, including investments, income taxes, risk management and insurance, estate planning, employee benefits, retirement planning, and cash flow management. Kathi is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, providing professional advice in the financial issues of divorce. Zimmer Financial Planning does not sell financial products or manage assets for a percentage fee. All services are rendered commission-free, for an hourly fee, or on an annual retainer basis. An initial "get acquainted" meeting is provided free of charge. Kathi founded Zimmer Financial Planning in 2012, as the culmination of a life-long career in financial services. Kathi graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Allegheny College with a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics. She also holds an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from Duquesne University. Kathi’s career has included positions with Waldron Wealth Management, Goldman Sachs, Mellon Financial Corporation, PNC Financial Services, and Federated Investors. Kathi is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). She currently serves on the CFP Advisory Board at Duquesne University’s School of Leadership and Professional Advancement, where she is also an instructor. Kathi and husband, Gary, reside in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania. They have two children, Jessica and Zach.
