Facing her own divorce, Nella realized she knew nothing about divorce and money. And even though she was from the financial industry, she made a few costly mistakes. Then, she decided to become a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®) and later a Master Analyst in Financial Forensics® (MAFF®).

Nella's mission today is to help other women going through a divorce to navigate the financial chaos and confusion so they avoid money pitfalls and can feel confident and happy again.

What makes her different?

Nella is not only a trained CDFA® and MAFF® expert but has a tremendous background in real estate, appraisal, insurance, compliance, and investment advisory. She also completed mediation training and holds a few professional designations: CRCP (Certified Regulatory and Compliance Professional), CAMS-Audit, and CAMS-FCI (Financial Crime Investigator).

As a CDFA® and a real estate professional, she helped numerous couples with their marital home and real estate needs while going through a divorce or legal separation. She assisted clients with all divorce and real estate issues - calculating the cost basis, capital gain, tax issues on the sale of a principal residence, "use period," and "ownership period," the viability of a spouse to keep the home.

Nella is fluent in reading any financial document or statement and can put together all the ins and outs of a client's financials and how it fits into their divorce case. 

Being curious, Nella studied appraisal to understand how properties are valued. To gain practical experience, she assisted in preparing hundreds of appraisals. So while working with Nella, rest assured she knows her numbers and prepares comprehensive financial reports.
