Don has considerable experience as a divorce financial mediator, collaborative financial neutral and divorce financial planner helping both divorcing parties gather information, document disclosures, determining community versus separate property, valuations for options, retirement plans and businesses and develop realitic budgets, in educating divorcing parties about their financial possibilities, in exploring financial options, in developing long-term financial projections and in analyzing tax issues.

As the financial mediator or neutral on the collaborative divorce team, Don is able to help sort through and make sense of financial issues, provide understandable analysis of the short and long-term financial impact of different possible settlement proposals and move you toward an equitable settlement so you can get on with your lives. He is committed to helping divorcing couples gather, organize, analyze, tax-effect and graph financial data and to help them reach a durable financial agreement that works.

Don has been a practicing independent certified public accountant and management consultant since 1987. His core competencies include litigation support in forensic accounting, long-term financial projections, divorce related tax issues, business valuation and business plan preparation as well as financial statement assurance services including audits, internal control, cash management and distressed company turnarounds and bailouts. Don is profiled by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as an accounting pathfinder by its CPA Vision project.

He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Windows 2000 and Certified Novell Administrator (CNA) Netware 5. Don has a Masters in Business Administration and a BS in Journalism from the University of Kansas and an Associates degree in information systems from Johnson County Community College.
